Middlebury is one of the newest train stops in Vermont.With the extension of Ethan Allen from Albany, NY you can board and disembark.This stop offers and outdoor waiting area so prepare accordingly in inclement weather.

The Ethan Allen line is proposed to continue along the western corridor of Vermont and go to downtown Burlington.You will be able to continue your trip at this time to Rutland, Vt or continue to Albany and NYC.Stops beyond Rutland through Middlebury and Vergennes and to downtown Burlington will hopefully commence later in 2022.

From the platform, there are a few ways to get to downtown allowing some beautiful views of the falls along a walking path to Main Street.

It offers a picturesque downtown, lined with quaint shops and eateries and is the home to Middlebury College.The beautiful and historic Middlebury Inn is located approximately a half mile from this stop and there is local transportation if you’re not up for a short walk.
